Rylee, no longer a baby, no longer a toddler. An amazing little girl, learning and growing every day. We fill up her tea pot with chamomile, and put little cookies on her plates. I watch her practice pouring the tea into the little cups. She is so careful, and exact. Trying so hard to be big. Rylee says "Would you like a spot of tea."
Ryder, such a sweet little angel. While big sister is napping we get to have our quiet time together. Today we gazed out the window, watching the trees blowing in the wind. Pressing his chubby little fingers on my face, watching the wide world outside wondering what it is all about. He puts his sweet little mouth on my cheek and gives me a slobbery wet kiss. He is love. So full of it, ready to smile at everything. Especially his big sister!
The two of them together is such an amazing thing to watch. Rylee is an amazing big sister, so sweet & kind. Always gentle and ready to make him giggle. I am so proud of her. Ryder at the sight of her smiles. If it has been awhile since he has seen him he just starts bouncing when she walks into the room. One day soon they will keep each other busy. Building towers inside, Rylee filling them with her princesses and horses. Ryder shooting her princesses with his cowboys and indians. Outside running around with the dog, going on adventures together in the backyard, I can see it now.
